VisionFirst Cancellation Policy

At VisionFirst, we value your time and commitment to improving your vision and we endeavor to support you by providing a smooth operation of the clinic and transparent policies. In order to ensure that we can run things smoothly we have an established cancellation policy.

1. Non-Program Patients:

For patients not currently enrolled in a VisionFirst Program, the following cancellation policy applies;

  • Cancellation with 24 Hours’ Notice: If you need to cancel your appointment and provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice, there will be no cancellation charge.
  • No-Show or Cancellation within 24 Hours: If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, you will incur a 50% cancellation charge. This fee helps cover the cost of the missed appointment and the time reserved for your session.

2. Program Patients:

Program patients are those who are actively participating in a Vision Therapy or Myopia Control program with VisionFirst. For program patients, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • Cancellation with 24 Hours’ Notice: If you need to cancel your appointment and provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice, there will be no cancellation charge.
  • No-Show or Cancellation within 24 Hours: If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, a $50 penalty fee will be applied. This fee is designed to encourage program patients to honor their appointments, ensuring consistent progress in their vision therapy journey.

Payment and Refund Information:

All cancellation charges and penalty fees will be billed to the patient’s account and must be settled before scheduling any future appointments. We do not offer refunds for missed therapy sessions, program cancellations, or not following through with your agreed upon treatment. However, we will work with you to reschedule missed sessions and adjust your treatment plan as needed.

Rescheduling:

We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please contact us via email or phone as soon as possible to arrange a new date and time that is convenient for you.
