At MyVisionFirst, we value your time and commitment to improving your vision and we endeavor to support you by providing a smooth operation of the clinic and transparent policies while ensuring consistent progress in your vision therapy journey.
Rescheduling Appointments
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please contact us via email or phone as soon as possible to arrange a new date and time that is convenient for you.
Sickness and Medical Emergencies
If you are feeling unwell and unable to attend your appointment please let us know as soon as possible and we will help you get rescheduled. Cancellation fees may be waived when you provide us with notice before your appointment.
No Scheduled Appointment
If you arrive at the clinic without a scheduled appointment we reserve the right to refuse treatment and reschedule your appointment to a time that suits. Our sessions are programmed specifically for you and arriving without a scheduled appointment means that we may not be able to deliver the standard of care you deserve and can disrupt other patients treatment.

It is the patients responsibility to ensure that your appointments are scheduled in advance and adhere to a consistent vision therapy schedule.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation with 24 Hours Notice: If you need to cancel your appointment and provide us with at least 24 hours notice, there will be no cancellation charge or forfeited appointments.
- No-Show or Cancellation within 24 Hours: If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours notice you will forfeit the session and the full fee will apply. For program patients this means that your session will be forfeited and counted towards your total sessions available in the package.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive promptly for your scheduled appointment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate you, and your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
- Rescheduling: In the event that your appointment needs to be rescheduled due to a late arrival, we will do our best to find another convenient time for you.
- Cancellation Fee: Repeated instances of arriving late may result in forfeiture of your allocated session. This helps us manage our schedule effectively and ensure that all patients receive timely care.
Payment and Refund Information
All cancellation charges and penalty fees will be billed to the patient’s account and must be settled before scheduling any future appointments. We do not offer refunds for missed therapy sessions, program cancellations, or not following through with your agreed upon treatment. However, we will work with you to reschedule missed sessions and adjust your treatment plan as needed.
